ROM/ROMX Program

The Registry of Merit It is a program within the Club that acknowledges breeders who’s Scottish Terrier Dams and Sires have produced certain numbers of champions.

ROM stands for Registry of Merit

ROMX stands for Registry of Merit Excellent

Eligibility:

For Dams:

• The number of Champions for a “BITCH” to obtain her ROM title is THREE
• The number of Champions for a “BITCH” to obtain her ROMX title is FIVE

For Sires:

• The number of Champions sired by a “DOG” to obtain his ROM title is FIVE
• The number of Champions sired by a “DOG” to obtain his ROMX title is EIGHT

How to Apply for ROM or ROMX

When your DAM or SIRE has reached the title requirements, complete a ROM/ROMX application and send it to the chair of the ROM committee for verification. Upon verification the club will issue a Registry of Merit or a Registry of Merit Excellent Certificate.
