The Club offers a Register of Merit (ROM) and Register of Merit Excellent (ROMX) to owners of Scottish Terriers who meet the ROM/ROMX program requirements.

ROM is awarded to any dog that sires 5 or more Champions in any country in which the dog’s registry is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club or any Bitch that has produced 3 or more Champions in any country in which the dog’s registry is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club.

ROMX is awarded to any dog that sires 9 or more Champions in any country in which the dog’s registry is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club or any Bitch that has produced 4 or more Champions in any country in which the dog’s registry is recognized by the Canadian Kennel Club. Additionally, 1 (one) or more of the offspring must have obtained a Best In Show or Best In Breed at a National or Regional (10 or more dogs competing); or a Group 1st at a Terrier Specialty and 1 (one) or more offspring must have obtained a Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) recognized title in a performance event.
